The Bryan Bros Challenge
The Bryan Bros Challenge is modeled after the Webb Simpson Challenge in North Carolina and the Scottie and Friends Challenge in Texas. It is a high-level junior golf tournament that incorporates all things golf, life and faith into an amazing weekend! Watch the video below to get a glimpse into what it's like.
The South Carolina Junior Golf Association is proud to host this exceptional golf tournament in partnership with College Golf Fellowship.
When: January 1 - 3, 2027
Who: 9th - 12th Grade Guys
Where: The Legends Resort - Myrtle Beach, SC
All-Inclusive Cost: $650
(lodging, golf, food, etc)
** Every player must stay in on-site villas, sharing a room with another competitor
The Bryan Bros Challenge is much more than an average golf tournament. Instead, it is a challenge for every golfer in both his golf game and his faith. The Bryan Bros Challenge is based on 1 Timothy 4:8 - "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for both the present life and the life to come".
Do you love to compete like George and Wesley? Do you see value in having a college or pro golfer as a mentor? Do you want to spend time with and learn from professional golfers? Would you like to make friends with future college golfers? Would you like to grow in your faith?
If so, the Bryan Bros Challenge is for you.
A Note From Wesley Bryan
“This event is all about loving God, loving others and loving golf. Y’all get your tails down to Myrtle Beach and let’s have a good time celebrating the New Year together!”

Tournament Application
Please complete the form to apply to the tournament.
-
Applications close November 1
-
The top 30 players on the 2026 Heritage Classic Foundation Rankings Points List as of October 1, 2026, will receive automatic exemptions. Eligible players will be notified by October 15 and must complete their application and submit the entry fee by November 1 to confirm their spot in the Bryan Bro's Challenge.
-
The final 50 spots will be determined by JGS ranking and special invitations selected by the committee. These special invitations are extended to players who demonstrate strong character, a genuine desire to play college golf, and a commitment to grow both on and off the course. The committee seeks individuals eager to prepare for life as a student-athlete—players who are coachable, hardworking, and ready to fully engage in the experience.
-
Selected invitees will be notified by November 15, and payment will be due promptly upon acceptance.
-
-
Full field will be 80 players.
-
The Bryan Bros Challenge will not be submitting scores to the JGS rankings. We hope to gather an elite field this year and hope to do so again, but our strategy is to create both a competitive and enjoyable experience that better prepares you for college golf.
